US economy growing at 3.5% this quarter

The US economy for the 2nd quarter (July - September) has grown by 3.5% which is a remarkable achievement in these tight times. The most important thing is that the these figures have exceeded the market expectations.

Obama has said that, "We've got a long way to go to fully restore our economy" which is a very humble statement. Japan, France, Germany had already come out of recession in the last quarter itself, though UK is still in recession.

US Economy in April - June : 0.9% growth
US Economy in July - Sept. : 3.5% growth

Very encouraging signs. But the job market in US hasn't improved though. This has created lots of confusions in the minds of market analysts. Hmmm... Hope things really improve much more.

India vs Singapore

Now let's see how India performs against Singapore.

SINGAPORE -

It's a US $181bn economy. Pretty impressive for a country the size of Singapore (Hurray... It's more than that of Pakistan's)
Famous for education, tourism and multi-cultural activities, variety of food
Per capita income of a whopping US $51,226 (Wow... More than US. Cool !!!)
Population - 4,987,600. (Because of the immigrant population)
Popular for F1 race too. (Night race)

Aim :

• Has a vision of making it the world's number one tourist destination
• To make Singapore a haven

Verdict :

Singapore might be economically too ahead of India but is too small and defense wise is no match for India. So, India wins when it comes to national security but people in Singapore are far more happier than those in India. So, mathematically, Singapore wins.

Here, i will compare India with Sri Lanka. As we have seen points about India, we will see the stats of Sri Lanka alone here.

Famous battles fought with LTTE and also for the killing of innocent Tamilians
Population - 20,238,791 (has reduced, thanks to LTTE)

Aim :

• To drive out Tamilians from their nation or kill them
• Recently, they have joined hands with other countries to work against India

Hmmm, and the winner is ... India (hurray...), but wait, not by a huge margin.

From now onwards, i will try to compare India with other countries in the world. For a better start, let's compare India with Pakistan.

Famous for corruption, pollution, population
Per capita Income of (just) US $2,762
Population - 1,147,995,904. Thanks to Pakistan it's under control (by frequent Bomb Blasts)
Aim :

• To become number one in corruption in the world
• To sell India to countries like China, Pakistan etc. (It's actually a very long list...)
  

PAKISTAN -

Pakistan is a US $167 bn economy (Poor Pakistan)
Famous for terrorism, jihad, telling lies, blaming other nations and most importantly, famous for begging to US
Per capita Income of (a whopping) US $2,739 (Too much...)
Population - 172,800,048. Thanks to US that it's well under control (frequent bombing by Drones)
Aim :

• To capture Kashmir from India and still not becoming satisfied
• To setup more training camps for terrorists with latest technology

So, the winner of the match is .... Actually it's a TIE, as both countries are good at whatever they do. So, keep going...
